super saiyan is the form frieza feared for the longest time. it is a 50x times strength boost from your normal state and it can only be reached by anger, sadness, and rage.it has golden fluffy hair and a small muscle increase seen with gokus battle with 19. it is unknown why they needed to upgrade it, but i can bet it has to do with the villans at the time
Super Saiyan Grade 2
Super saiyan grade 2 is the better variant of the first grade. it has an unknown strength boost. it can be reached by training in the room of spirt and time (hyperbolic time chamber) it has spikeyer hair then the last grade and a big muscle increase.
Super Saiyan Grade 3
Super saiyan grade 3 is the better (in power) variant of the 2th grade, the form makes you get slower for the rest of the fight.
